Thieves Steal Dog From Shingle Springs Home

SHINGLE SPRINGS (CBS13) - Burglars hit a Shingle Springs home and took everything they could get their hands on including the owner's dog.

The thieves broke into Chris Whitaker's place stealing his TV, a rifle, golf clubs and his dog, Olive.

Chris says he doesn't care about his possessions, he just wants Olive, a Chihuahua-Yorkie mix puppy back.

"To take somebody's dog you know somebody that obviously loves his animal that means something to them…for somebody to just take an animal like that…it's just cold blooded," said Whitaker. "They don't have a heart."

A thousand dollars reward is being offered for Olive's safe return. No questions asked.
