Thieves Ransack Home, Take Christmas Presents
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) -- A Sacramento family has to figure out their Christmas plans again after thieves broke into their home on Power Inn Road and took all of their Christmas presents.
Alida Cash says her family went to dinner after a birthday party on Sunday, and came home to find their home trashed and all of their gifts stolen.
Cash says another home in the complex was broken into earlier this month, and her landlord didn't notify other residents.
Now, Cash's children won't get their presents they've been saving for.
Sacramento Police advise residents to get alarm systems, notify police of suspicious people in your neighborhood and keep all your valuables out of your bedroom, which is the first place thieves look.
