Thieves Smash Truck Through Front Of Little Caesars In Natomas To Get Safe
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - A Natomas business is cleaning up after thieves smashed a truck through the front doors overnight.
Around 3 a.m., the driver backed the pickup into the front of the business multiple times to break a safe loose from bolts holding it to the floor under the front counter.
Surveillance video from Little Caesars on Natomas Boulevard shows three men wearing hoodies and gloves going into the store, pulling out the 400-pound safe and lifting it into the back of the truck in under two minutes.
"They knew exactly what they were doing," customer Lawrence Williams said after seeing the surveillance video. "They ran right to and didn't even question what they were going."

A store spokesperson says they haven't had any disgruntled employees or recent firings.
Store owners wouldn't talk on camera but did say they don't recognize anyone in the video. They don't know if any employees were capable of doing this, but do agree it appears the suspects knew where to go.
Friday is the busiest day of the week for the pizza shop and owners say the suspects made off with about $6,000, leaving behind skid marks and a trail of glass into the parking lot.
Police have no suspects at this time.
The store plans to sell pizzas curbside on Friday.
