Former Sacramento Kings guard and current Kings assistant coach, Bobby Jackson, came in the studio to talk with Grant.
Jackson talked about his upcoming golf tournament on Monday at Catta Verdera Country Club, being an assistant coach for the Sacramento Kings, transitioning from a player to a coach, Kings putting in extra work this summer, the newly added guard Aaron Brooks, DeMarcus Cousins' maturation over the offseason, the performance of rookie Thomas Robinson in the Summer League, confronting players if necessary and managing his personal and professional life.
Stanford Cardinal football head coach David Shaw joined Grant today.
Shaw talked about the team defeating USC on Saturday, the Cardinal offense post-Andrew Luck, Luck's transition to the NFL, coaching under Jim Harbaugh, recruiting players, the possibility of returning to coaching in the NFL and the state of the Pac-12.
Yahoo Sports college columnist Pat Forde was on the show with Grant to talk about his new book titled The Contract: Jimmer Fredette.
Forde talked about the process behind writing the book, having to sign a contract with Fredette's brother, Fredette's family bond and Fredette's transition to the NBA.
Football analyst Charles Davis made his weekly stop on the show today.
Davis talked about the USC/Stanford game, USC still having a chance to play for a National Championship, the replacement NFL refs and the impact Steve Sabol had on the NFL.
