The Grant Napear Show started with Grant taking calls about the Oakland Athletics playoff game against the Detroit Tigers, the season starting with the Sacramento Kings, and giving his lock of the week and his upset of the week for the NFL.
FOX BCS Lead Analyst, Charles Davis, joined Grant and talked about the TCU/Oklahoma matchup on Saturday in Norman, OK. Charles also talked about the Northwestern/Ohio St. game this week and what this game could do for each team if they win this game. Grant also asked Charles what he thought of Josh Freeman's release from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Sacramento Kings General Manager, Pete D'Alessandro, came on with Grant and talked about the training camp so far, the Kings players and their chemistry, and what it's been like to have Vivek Ranadive as the owner of the Kings.
Joe Davidson, writer for the Sacramento Bee, talked about the high school football matchups this weekend and what people could expect from games like Granite Bay at Lincoln-Stockton and St. Mary's-Stockton at Del Oro. Joe also talked about some great players to watch in the Sacramento area.
