Smoltz talked about the resiliency of the San Francisco Giants, Justin Verlander and the Detroit Tigers' starting rotation, the Giants possibly capitalizing on the Tigers' defense, the possibility of a home field advantage for the Giants, the great moves Bruce Bochy has made this postseason and which team he thinks will win.
Greg Amsinger, host of MLB Tonight on MLB Network, came on the show with Grant to give his take on this year's World Series.
Amsinger talked about the Tigers' starting pitching, the Tigers' defense, the Tigers' bullpen and which team he thinks has the advantage in the series.
Oakland Raiders defensive end Lamarr Houston earned the AFC Defensive Player of the Week honors and came on the show with Grant to talk about the Raiders.
Houston talked about the Raiders' defense, the stability that the Raiders' coaching staff seems to finally have, the improvements the Raiders can still make and the preparation that professional football players go through each week.
