Reporter for MLB on FOX, Ken Rosenthal, came on to the show to give his preview of the MLB playoffs. Ken also gave his thoughts on Ron Washington and the job he has done in Texas.
Pete D'Alessandro, GM of the Sacramento Kings, joined Grant to talk about Kings training camp. Pete explained how impressed he is with the new coaching staff, including Michael Malone, Corliss Williamson, and Dee Brown. Pete also discussed team meals during training camp and DeMarcus Cousins treating his teammates to dinner.
Voice of the San Jose Sharks, Dan Rusanowsky, came on to the show to talk about the Sharks upcoming season. Dan discussed the hybrid-icing rule that will be in effect this season, the pressure to win the Stanley Cup this year, and what he likes about the NHL realignment. Dan also lists his top teams in the NHL for this season.
