Grant kicked off the show by discussing the Cinderella season that that Oakland A's have had and how excited Northern California should be to have two teams in the MLB Playoffs. Grant also gave Cowboys fans a wake-up call that the team will continue to struggle under the leadership of Jerry Jones.
The Oakland A's clinched a playoff spot last night, so A's broadcaster Ray Fosse joined Grant on the show today.
Fosse talked about the chemistry in A's clubhouse, the amount of knowledge the team's rookies possess, Jonny Gomes winning the Catfish Hunter Award and Brandon McCarthy's return to the A's dugout.
NFL analyst Charles Davis made his weekly stop on the show today.
Davis talked about the lack of glory in good defenses in college football and the focus of putting young athletes on the offensive side of the football, the most electrifying atmosphere he's been in and the deficiencies of the Oakland Raiders and Dallas Cowboys.
Steve Sands of the Golf Channel joined Grant today.
Sands talked the year that Tiger Woods has had, Phil Mickelson applauding when Justin Rose made his puts, whether or not the Americans choked in the Ryder Cup and whether the fans in Washington D.C. were more excited about the Nationals or Redskins.
