The Grant Napear Show - November 6, 2012
Grant kicked off this election Tuesday, not talking about politics or voting but about the Sacramento Kings first victory of the season and at home, at Sleep Train Arena. He discussed the black banners falling down from the scoreboard, along with how nervous he was in the last minutes of the game with Klay Thompson, of the Warriors having the ball and the Kings possibly letting the game slip away.
DeMarcus Cousins joined Grant in studio and took calls from listeners and fans, along with discussing his role as a Captain on the team. He said that he is trying to become more of a vocal leader and that he probably won't ever stop talking to the refs.
Charles Davis talked with Grant about the big USC/Oregon game, from the past weekend, along with Ohio State and Alabama/LSU.
Finally Tim Legler and Grant discussed hoops, hoops and more hoops. He talked about how sometimes he is too quick to judge players and needs to give them a bit of time to develop. He isn't sure how the Lakers will figure things out with Steve Nash on the team but not currently available.
