Grant opened the show talking about more Sacramento Kings news, as the team awaits full Board of Governors vote on the pending sale & relocation of the franchise next week. Grant also discussed playoff hockey as the NBA Playoffs had the night off & talked a little golf as The Players Championship got underway.
Ryan Lillis from the Sacramento Bee joined Grant to talk about the Kings staying in Sacramento & what he expects to happen at the Board of Governors meeting in Dallas May 15. Lillis also chatted about the saga with Heat owner Mickey Arrison's leaked direct messages on Twitter about the Kings situation.
Chris Rose from MLB Network's Intentional Talk came on to discuss the blown call of an apparent Adam Rosales game tying home run in Wednesday night's Oakland Athletics game against the Cleveland Indians. Rose discussed his issue with instant replay & how it is being used. Rose also talked about the disappointing start by the Los Angeles Dodgers and Los Angeles Angels, his thoughts on the San Francisco Giants and the psyche of the Cleveland sports fan.
Columnist Monty Poole of the Bay Area News Group joined Grant to chat about some Golden State Warriors playoff hoops. Poole talked about how he thought the San Antonio Spurs might not be as good as he thought following the first two games of their Western Conference Semifinal series. Poole also discussed the impact of the Andrew Bogut trade, the amazing shooting of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson and just how loud the crowd is at Oracle Arena in Oakland.
