The Grant Napear Show talked about the Sacramento Kings and their impending free agency issues regarding Isaiah Thomas and Rudy Gay. Grant talked about the scenarios that may emerge and what they may do in the draft if they lose one of the players.
Later on Grant talked to Oklahoma City Thunder coach Scott Brooks about how the team has performed so far this year given the injuries to Russell Westbrook and Thabo Sefolosha. Coach Brooks talked about the improvement of players like Reggie Jackson and Jeremy Lamb.
Other interviews Grant had on the show were Joe Davidson of the Sacramento Bee, Scott Howard-Cooper of NBA.com and Folsom High's basketball coach Mike Wall. Grant talked to both Davidson and coach Wall about how the team has played, their championship opportunity and about how the school has been successful in both football and now basketball. Grant also talked to Cooper about the Kings and the NBA in general and the season as a whole so far.
Grant's Rant talked about Johnny Manziel's pro day today and how much of a media money grab it's become over the years, considering there are no defenders on the field.
