The Grant Napear Show - June 5, 2012
Today on the Grant Napear Show Grant is joined by Scott Brooks the head coach of the Oklahoma City Thunder. He talked about the maturation of Kevin Durant and the leadership he displays both on and off the court. He talked about how the crowds have been at the home games throughout the playoffs and how hard it is to communicate with the players on the court, as well as what they need to do to close out the San Antonio Spurs.
UFC fighter and Sacramento's own Urijah Faber joined Grant to talk about his recent book "The Laws of the Ring" which is now available for purchase. They talked about the recent stint as coach on "The Ultimate Fighter" where he coached against rival, current UFC Bantamweight champion Dominic Cruz. The two were scheduled to fight on July 7th but Cruz was forced out of the fight with a knee injury and Faber talked about the disappointment of not fighting Cruz but talked about his new opponent. He touched on what he will be doing once his career is over, and what his life is like being one of the faces of MMA.
If you would like to purchase a copy of his book and get it signed Urijah will be doing a book signing June 7th at 2 PM at the Arden Fair Barnes & Noble.
