Today on the Grant Napear Show, much of the talk surrounded the effort to keep the Kings in Sacramento. Grant discussed his thoughts on the public ownership group, and answered questions from callers regarding a possible relocation of the Kings. Grant interviewed Ryan Lillis and Eric Davis.
Ryan Lillis from the Sacramento Bee was on with Grant today to discuss the ongoing story with the possible sale of the Sacramento kings. He said that Mayor Kevin Johnson is trying to keep the story in the news to keep the momentum going for the public group that wants to keep the Kings in Sacramento. Ryan also discussed possible destinations for a new arena for the Kings in Sacramento. Finally, he talked about the dangers of social media in big stories like this and how it creates a new element to coverage of the story.
San Francisco 49ers' radio analyst Eric Davis joined Grant to discuss Super Bowl XLVII. Eric discussed the week of prior to Super Bowl week and why it's the best week of the season for the teams playing in the Super Bowl. He also talked about why the 49ers must stop Haloti Ngata if they want to beat the Ravens. Along with that, he talked about what parts of the Ravens' offense the 49ers will have to shut down.
