Mixed reviews today from the area NFL faithful on the shortened Monday edition, as the 49ers secured their first division title in nine years but the Raiders were thoroughly embarrassed in getting blown out on the road by the Dolphins. Compounding the Raiders' woes, the Broncos' winning ways continued in Minneapolis, giving Denver the inside track to the AFC West crown. All of these topics drew the interest of the callers, though the Raider Nation was clearly reluctant at first to acknowledge their team's failure in South Beach.
Additionally, a thrilling finish between the Giants and the Packers had some fans sympathizing with Grant while others rubbed it in his face. All this before turning it over to coverage of Monday Night Football from Jacksonville, where the Jags hosted the Chargers.
