Alex Boone, offensive tackle for the San Francisco 49ers, was on with Grant to talk about the 49ers' upcoming season.
Boone talked about the 49ers' offense and defense, quarterback Alex Smith and coach Jim Harbaugh, his college days at Ohio State and even joked about racing Olympian Usain Bolt.
San Francisco 49ers' beat writer Matt Barrows of the Sacramento Bee came on the show to talk about the 49ers with Grant.
Barrows talked about the 49ers' defense, Michael Crabtree's health, the 49ers' improved offense, the addition of wide receiver Randy Moss, Patrick Willis' potential hall of fame career and the 49ers' overall chances of being a better team than they were last season.
Steve Savard, St. Louis Rams' radio play-by-play announcer, took some time to preview the Rams' coming season with Grant.
