The Don Geronimo Show - September 25, 2012
Don begins the day with a flip out of epic proportions, in light of the debacle that was the ending to last night's Monday Night Football game, in which Don's beloved Packers were robbed of their second win by the incompetent replacement refs, who ruled that Golden Tate came down with the Hail Mary pass, even though the Packers' M.D. Jennings clearly had the ball on his chest. An irate Don even calls Commissioner Goodell's office to leave an angry voice mail. We also hear clips from John Gruden, Trent Dilfer, Mike Tirico, and Steve Young reacting to the bizarre ending to the game.
After we hear that last night's game created a $200 million swing in Vegas, and that Mitt Romney doesn't know why airplane windows don't open, we hear which ATM pin numbers are the most common among Americans, and Don reads tweets from Packer players last night. We also hear that Walt Gray will be hosting a new morning show at a competing station, before the guys play an all new Match Game.
Steve then dresses in a Santa suit for "Xmas in September," and goes outside to rant at traffic and passersby.
It's then time for the "Phantom News Hour. Today, Phantom tells us the new fall TV season ratings, and a U. of Tennessee student who got alcohol poisoning from "anal chugging." He also tells us that Matt Lauer may take a pay cut, and what snack foods are America's favorite.
And of course, Don wraps everything up with a caller 100!
