The Don Geronimo Show - October 31, 2012
It's Halloween!!! Don is back from being sick, and addresses the listeners who tweeted Little Joe relentlessly with their conspiracy theories for Don taking the day off. After discussing Don's policy for giving out candy to kids at his house this year, we start a new contest for tickets to the King's home opener: What is your best/worst Halloween Party story? Don also dives into the news coverage of Hurricane Sandy yesterday, and we get an update on Don's brother Jim, who is still talking with their Uncle/Half brother Tom on Facebook. Don even gives his brother a call to get details.
After hearing a few clips from the Hurricane Sandy coverage, and David Letterman doing his show without an audience, the guys play two new rounds of "Stupid Jeopardy," and then Don sends Slow Joe out for the 2012 version of "Trick Or Beer." This year, Slow manages to bring back 3 beers, a can of Pepsi, and a can of WD-40!
After the guys declare a winner in the Halloween Party contest, it's time for the "Phantom News Hour." Today, Phantom gives us some fun facts about Hurricane Sandy, tells us that Disney has bought out Lucas Films, Burger King is starting a delivery program, and George Wendt is in the hospital for chest pains. And of course, Don wraps everything up with a caller 100!
