The Don Geronimo Show - November 7, 2012
Don begins the day with his voting experience yesterday, which he says was the easiest he's ever had it, in and out in 10 minutes. The guys then talk about the election coverage on different TV stations, and we hear a few election clips, including a woman who says she is for the "Black" race, Diane Sawyer sounding drunk on the air, and a massive brain fart by a Lansing, MI news reporter. We also discuss the Raley's workers strike, and Dons encounter with the picketers yesterday when he went to buy cheese.
After some more election talk, the guys play "Foreign Or Domestic' with 7-Elevens in swing states, and we then get a visit from CBS broadcaster Greg Gumbel. Greg, who is calling the Raiders/Ravens game this weekend, talks about his relationship with his brother Bryant, his passion for baseball, working with Hall Of Famer Dan Dierdorf, why the NFC is so much better than the AFC, and his love for the Rolling Stones.
We then get another visit from our favorite gay, Roy Gilmore. Roy talks about his trip to Vegas, leaves an inappropriate Facebook post on Craig's page, and plays "How Gay Is Don's iPod?" with the guys, before it's time for the "Phantom News Hour." Today, Phantom tells us about Obama winning the Election, Colorado and Washington have voted to legalize marijuana, Miley Cyrus being offered a porno deal, and reads off a list of famous songs that were originally written for other people. And of course, Don wraps everything up with a caller 100!
