The Don Geronimo Show - November 13, 2012
Don begins by telling us that yesterday there were no protesters outside the Hostess factory for Craig to interview, but has Craig read the questions Don wrote for him anyway, before telling us about the guy who sold him speakers out of his van yesterday, as well as the drunken phone call he got from his brother-in-law Tom. He then introduces today's game: What is your best/worst breakup story? The prize today is tickets to Disneyland.
As Don takes callers throughout the first two hours, in between he tells us about the CEO of Waffle House being sued for sexual harassment of an employee for 10 years, and Don decides to call a few Waffle Houses, as well as the corporate headquarters. After announcing a winner in the Breakup Contest, we hear about the guy who does the voice of Elmo being accused of molesting a teenager 6 years ago, and Don plays a few clips, including Bono imitating Bill Clinton, and a Turlock, CA woman who made a racist tweet about Pres. Obama, claiming she isn't a racist.
It's then time to play Don's new "TV Theme Game," in which each guy has to sing the theme songs to different TV shows. After the game, we hear that the Raley's strike has ended, and it's then time for the "Phantom News Hour." Today, Phantom tells us that "Amos & Andy" has returned to television in Houston, a New Zealand man tries to throw manure on Prince Charles, and a toilet-themed amusement park in South Korea. And of course, Don wraps everything up with a caller 100!
