The Don Geronimo Show - March 12, 2013
We begin the day with the pre show conversation the guys had just moments before over what would be worse, getting nailed to death by a horse, or being eaten to death by a tiger? We then hear about the sprinkler maintenance guys at Don's house who don't speak English, and a listener sent Don an email full of filthy language in Morse code. After hearing about Drew's visit to the doctor yesterday, we hear that NYC Mayor Bloomberg's 16 ounce soda bill has been killed, and a high school girls softball coach who was sending his players out to the mall to troll for dates. This gets Don talking about his high school sports days, and gets Drew and Craig ripping each other for their own high school failures.
The guys go through another Cosmo sex quiz, which they fail miserably, and then hear the Larry Hagman tribute on "Dallas" last night, before watching a video of a mountain climber falling 100 ft, and hearing Valerie Harper talk about having brain cancer, and only 3 months left to live. This gets the guys going on a deep afterlife discussion, before going into another Rotating Random Phone Scan. It's then time for "Phantom News." Today, a "seat belt t-shirt" designed to fool cops into thinking you're driving with a seat belt on, Ellen re ups her contract through 2017, and TV reminders for the evening. And of course, Don wraps everything up with a caller 100!
