The Don Geronimo Show - July 13, 2012
Don begins the day by calling in Ron and Billy from promotions, and decides to send them out to the McDonald's on Howe and Madison to give away "Ted" passes and DGS T-shirts. The guys then talk about the story Craig told after the show yesterday, about the time he crapped his pants while walking home from the bar. We then get a call from Steve, who tells us how the infomercial is going, and then Don tells us about Janet wanting to get it on with Don yesterday, only to be denied, as Don had a conference call in 2 minutes. This gets the guys on a discussion about why Don will only have sex in his bedroom.
The guys also talk at length about the Freeh Report on Penn St., and the disturbing details about the massive cover up that took place, forever tarnishing Joe Paterno's legacy. Don then has Slow Joe, the resident Rolling Stones expert, guess the "Top 10 Most Popular Stones Songs." It's then time for a new edition of "Stupid Jeopardy." Today, among the categories, "All About Jodi," "Guess The Cereal Manufacturer," and "Actors Who Have Gay Tendencies." We also get an in studio visit from Joey Diaz. Joey, who is performing at the Punchline in Sac all weekend, tells us about being in prison, comedians who helped him out, his rabid fans, setting a hooker's wig on fire, and selling cocaine to Whitney Houston!
It's then time for the birthday strippers. Joe and Billy both had birthdays this week, so Don has Jolie and Serena from City Limits come out and give them birthday lap dances. The guys all agree that these were by far the best performances of any strippers in the history of the Don Geronimo Show. It's then time for the "Phantom News Hour."
Today, Phantom tells us that Michael Clark Duncan was rushed to the hospital after suffering a heart attack, a Tennessee man got arrested for chainsawing nude, and Steven Tyler has left American Idol. And of course, Don wraps everything up with a caller 100!
