The Don Geronimo Show - August 8, 2012

Don begins the day with a story he heard just this morning, about a DJ at another CBS station who crapped himself so badly yesterday that he had to throw away his pants, and apparently got it smeared on the bathroom walls. Don and the guys first try to figure out which station the guy works at, and then which guy it would be. After a little process of elimination, the guys figure out that it's Baltazar, half of the morning show at NOW 100.5, and Don calls him up. Surprisingly, Baltazar admits to everything, even telling us about using some promotional sweatshirts as pants, so he could go to the store and buy new ones!

Don then tells us that he did indeed lose his bet to Steve, regarding the scene in "That Thing You Do" that they argued over yesterday, and throws it to the guys to decide on how he should pay it off. After tossing around a few ideas, the guys start to lean towards Don having to wash Noodles' feet, while Phantom also brings up the idea of Don having to missing the first quarter of tomorrow's Packer game, a punishment that Don finds entirely too cruel and unusual. The guys then talk about the premiere of Hard Knocks last night, and Don shows us some videos from an old show called "How's Your News?" In which mentally handicapped people interview famous people.

Don also pulls out a list of the "Greatest Rock Band Logos" of all time, and the guys weigh in with their favorites, before the guys hear clips from Bob Costas on the Olympics last night, and a sports anchor in Jacksonville, Florida flipping out over Costas going 7 minutes over in the Olympic broadcast. We also hear that Randy Travis has been busted for another DUI, and even threatened state troopers this time around, and Don shows the guys his mugshot, which was posted on TMZ.
The guys then finish their game of "Stump The Stoop" that they started last week, before calling in Noodles to see if he'll let Don wash his feet tomorrow, which he agrees to.

It's then time for the "Phantom News Hour." Today, Phantom tells us that McDonald's is experimenting with starting breakfast service at midnight, Joan Rivers handcuffed herself to a shopping cart at Costco, and a Florida man who got caught creating fake identities by attaining a vast array of government uniforms and fake ID's. And of course, Don wraps everything up with a caller 100!
