The Don Geronimo Show - April 18, 2012

Don begins the day by telling us he's thinking about quitting Facebook, because of all the stupid things people do on the site. The guys then discuss what annoys them the most about the social networking site, like when people tag you in picture's you're not in, send requests to play Farmville, and say whiny passive aggresive things, just to get people to go, "Aw, what's wrong?" We then hear about the meeting Don and Little Joe attended after the show, and Salesman John's lengthy rambling that put everyone to sleep. Dave says John is the guy he uses his "phone ringing" app on the most. Don then tells us about a town in Austria called "F--king," and a German DJ who was kidnapped and kept as a sex slave for 5 hours.

Our good friend Lindsey Pavao made it to the next round of "The Voice," and Don plays the clip of the elimination round last night. Don then pulls out an aircheck from when he was 17 years old, and tells a few stories of his young DJ days, including how he got his name. The guys then debate over who was the better musical duo: Hall & Oates, or Simon & Garfunkel, which was something Little Joe and Dave were arguing over during the break. Our old friend Dennis Murphy then calls in. Dennis, who just recently got a new job, tells us how great his year has been, and Don has him talk up a few songs, before we get a visit from comedian Tommy Davidson. Tommy, who is appearing at Laughs Unlimited tonight, talks about being on In Living Color, and the show getting the TV Land "Groundbreaking Award," as well as the FOX "25 Year Anniversary Special" which is airing this Sunday. We also hear the youtube video of Tommy performing with Stevie Wonder.

After Don looks for the "Eat Me" line in Stevie's song "Isn't She Lovely," we hear a bad parody ad from Little Joe's show prep site, Sharon Osbourne accusing Simon Cowell of having "small penis syndrome," and a kid named "Skidmore" who crapped her pants at school. It's then time for the "Phantom News Hour." Today, Phantom talks about one of the Mega Millions winners who's name has just been released, the Leno/Seinfeld Super Bowl ad wanting "light skinned black people," and Time Magazine's "100 most influential people" list. And of course, Don wraps everything up with a caller 100!
