The Don Geronimo Show - April 17, 2013
The day begins with something Don heard on the Rob, Arnie, and Dawn Show while driving in today. Apparently, they were making fun of the victims of the Boston Marathon tragedy yesterday, and picked up right where they left off this morning. Don, infuriated, rips them a new one, as do the other fellas, and through out the show today, Don makes numerous phone calls to their request line, only to get a cowardly phone screener who would hang up on him when he would ask to be put on the air.
We get a quick visit from comedian Jen Kirkman, from "Chelsea Lately" and "Drunk History" on funnyordie.com. Jen a Boston native, talks about her new book "I Can Barely Take Care Of Myself," and gets furious when Don tells her about the doings of Rob Arnie and Dawn. Don then calls 98.5 The Hub in Boston and leaves a voice mail with the program director, before listeners call in, also ripping apart the hack radio show, and telling us about calling them up as well. Don even has Craig, Drew, and Little Joe call them up a few times, before we hear a clip of Patricia Campbell, the mother of Krystle Campbell, who died in the explosions.
After more R,A, & D bashing, it's time for the "Phantom News." Today, suspicious substances mailed to President Obama, a hoarder dies, mummified by her own trash, and Sharon isn't ready to get back with Ozzy yet. And of course, Don wraps everything up with a caller 100!
