The Don Geronimo Show - April 17, 2012

Today, Don tells us that none of the Maloofs have gotten back to him regarding being on the show. Dave however, will be speaking with George Maloof on the phone later. Dave also pulls out an email from George with all the emails the Maloofs claim to have sent to the NBA and the City of Sacramento. According to Dave, the Maloofs "red lined" many terms that are normally left in when dealing with owners in an arena deal, and the City responded the EXACT SAME DAY to the emails, and the unreasonable demands. Much of the evidence Dave presents is bizarre, but it is starting to look like the Maloofs had no intention of reaching a deal with the City. Don and Dave then go through a recap of the Eastbound and Down series finale on Sunday, and how much they love that show, even though it only went for three seasons. Don also tells us that he wants to recreate the show "Full Metal Jousting" on his show, using Craig as the target.

After hearing a few clips from Little Joe's show prep site, including a parody song based on Tom Petty's "The Waiting," and Bob Beckel dropping the "F" bomb on Hannity, Don tells us his infamous "S" bomb story, in which he said the "S" bomb on the air during his Don and Mike days, and got suspended for it. We also hear about a guy who's trying out to be a Denver Broncos cheerleader, Mitt Romney saying he's a funny guy, and our good friend Lindsey Pavao's performance last night on "The Voice." Don then tells us that Oprah is seriously thinking about marrying Stedman, and reads the idiotic tweets of Jose Canseco yesterday about the Titanic. We then hear that Bill Murray is willing to do a "Ghostbusters 3," and Don gives us the contestant list for the new "Celebrity Jeopardy."

It's then time for another edition of "Match Game." Today, the questions include Dave's love for dictators, Lisa Gonzales' love for the Kings, and Don's love for Girl Scout cookies. It's then time for the "Phantom News Hour." Today, Phantom tells us about a high school baseball player who peed on the opposing team's dugout, gives us a GOP update, and talks about Tupac's hologram appearance at Coachella. And of course, Don wraps everything up with a caller 100!
