The Don Geronimo Show - April 11, 2013
Doni is back from his day off, and the show starts with Doni asking Slow Joe about meeting Sheryl Crow yesterday, apparently she was in town to do an interview with KNCI across the hall, and Slow is apparently a big fan of hers, so he annoyed her for a good 10 minutes yesterday. Don then calls Big Freda to get an Twitter follower update, and also calls his father in law Jim, who turns 86 today. Jim tells us about his birthday dinner last night and also tells us a hilarious cyanide joke. Don then introduces us to a few websites that allow you to pay for Twitter followers, and Little Joe tells us about the Twitter war he's been in with Blake Shelton fans.
We then get a visit from our good buddy, comedian Frank Caliendo. Frank tells the guys about his new podcast, which can be found on johnfrankandchuck.com., and jokes about Jon Gruden's Manti Te'o interview. After Frank, the guys talk about how idiotic the Maloofs are being, with the deadline they've put on the city of Sacramento to make an offer to them by Friday to keep the Kings. We also hear a few "Jurassic Park" dinosaur sounds, and the animals that actually made them, before Don reads a list of the most hated celebs in Hollywood, and the most powerful people in media.
After another Rotating Random Phone Scan, the guys play a few rounds of "Disco Karaoke, before it's time for the '"Phantom News." Once again filling in for Phantom, Slow Joe tells us that 9% of Americans want a sex robot, the average sugar daddy spends $68K a year on their women, and a few random facts about swear words. And of course, Don wraps everything up with a caller 100!
