Temperatures Drop Into 80s For Cinco De Mayo
Big weather changes are on the way for Northern California as a low-pressure system backs into the state.
The biggest immediate change will be much cooler temperatures Sunday, falling from near 90 to 80 degrees in the valley.
The chance for rain and thunderstorms will also increase in the next few days, but the best shot for storms will be in the foothills and mountains.
As the low pushes farther west, Sacramento and the Central Valley will see increased afternoon rain chances Monday through Wednesday.
By the end of the week, the low will push southwest as high pressure will start to build back into the state. This will mean the return of warmer temperatures and clear skies.
