Temperatures Climb Slightly, Remain Within Seasonal Norms

Temperatures climbed a bit as the weekend started in Sacramento, topping out in the mid 90s.

Fortunately, that's about where we should be this time of year in the valley. Sunshine was abundant and the wind wasn't much of a problem.

Sunday will have similar weather with warm temperatures and sunny skies.

Monday and Tuesday will me a weak delta breeze, with temperatures retreating just a few degrees. Sacramento will have a high of 89 for Tuesday.

The only real change will come at the end of the week as high pressure builds in from the west.

Expect temperatures to climb quickly. By next Saturday, Sacramento could hit 100 degrees.

However, we won't see another extended heat wave.
