Temperatures Back To Seasonal Norm After Monday's Scorcher
Temperatures are dipping back down to normal after the scorcher we had Monday.
Foothills temperatures lingered down in the 70s in the overnight hours.
Valley breezes will range today between 5 and 15 mph, but onshore winds will top out at 35 mph and help drop temperatures in our region down about 10 degrees.

A weak low-pressure center is moving into our area today, which could trigger a couple of thunderstorms in the mountains. As a result, a red flag warning will be in effect in the mountains between 1 p.m. and until 9 p.m.
The marine layer is back on the coast that will weaken on Wednesday.
We'll see temperatures in the upper-90s in the valley; low-100s in Chico and Oroville; and 90s in the foothills. We'll see a high of 85 degrees in South Lake Tahoe.
In the mid-90s is where we'll be for the next few afternoons in Sacramento.
