Teens Rob 4-Year-Old Boy For Video Game

STOCKTON, Calif. (CBS13) -- Three teens were arrested after allegedly attacking and robbing a four-year-old boy for his video game system.

Police said a 17-year-old boy and his two 14-year-old friends approached 4-year-old Gabriel in front of his family's Stockton apartment and tried to rip a Nintendo DS out of his hands.

Since the boy carried the gaming device in a carrying case with a strap behind his neck, the suspects sharply yanked on the strap to pull the device free, said Daniella Rodriquez, Gabriel's sister.

"He was really, really crying and scared," Daniella said.

Police said the suspects took the DS and tried to sell it at a nearby video game store, and then made the mistake of returning to Gabriel's neighborhood.

"My brother pointed at the guy… and said, 'You're the one who robbed my DS,'" Daniella said.

Officers tracked down the three suspects and took them into custody at juvenile hall. Due to their ages, they have not been identified.
