Teenage Girl Critically Hurt In 2-Alarm Stockton House Fire

STOCKTON, Calif. (CBS13) – Fire fighters are still on the scene of the fire at a home on Rayanna Drive near Highway 99 and Hammer Lane.

Fire fighters say five people were asleep in the home when flames broke out.  The fire quickly spread through the second floor.

Witnesses say a 14-year-old girl was carried out of the home by her father.   She was rushed to St. Joseph's Hospital and is reportedly in critical condition with burns.

"We're not sure a 100% where she was in relation to where the fire was," said Stockton Fire Fighter Mike Lilienthal. "We know where the fire started. So we need to figure out the details of exactly what happened."

Everyone else was able to get out of the home.
