Teen Whose 'Promposal' Was Answered By Paige VanZant Talks To CBS13
(CBS13) - The high school senior who made a "promposal" video for UFC fighter Paige VanZant finally has an answer from the fighter, although it's not the one he had hoped for.
"Hey, Brandon! Thank you so much for thinking of me to go to your prom. I can't make it. I'll be on Dancing with the Stars," VanZant said in response to his video.
Instead of going to the prom with 17-year-old Brandon Cadiz, the UFC strawweight promised the San Mateo high school senior four tickets to her next fight.
Over Skype, Cadiz said the response sent his heart racing, and he nearly dropped the phone when he saw her video response on Twitter.
