Target Will Be Watching Shoppers Closer On Black Friday
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) -- So it's almost here, Black Friday, the day some crazy shoppers will be doing some serious bargain hunting. But Target warns it will be watching shoppers closer this year for unruly behavior.
"It's really opposite of what the holidays should be about, which is loving one another and being respectful, just enjoying their time," one woman told CBS13 in Natomas.
To cut down on the danger, Target says it has re-emphasized crowd safety training this year, urging crews to make eye contact with every shopper as they walk in come Black Friday to set the tone for a more relaxed experience. If they don't behave, shoppers will be shown the door.
The shoppers CBS13 talked to on Monday all supported the policy.
"Well I think it's a good thing. They shouldn't be running and trampling," one said.
"I think it's great because people get hurt," another said.
Target says safety is the prime concern.
