T-Storm Alerts For Sacramento, Sutter Counties

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) -- Severe weather has triggered thunderstorm warnings in Sacramento County and Sutter County until 7:00 p.m.

The National Weather Service says two parts of the storm have formed strong thunderstorm cells, one of which moved across Carmichael and Citrus Heights toward Placer and El Dorado Counties. The other storm is passing through Yuba and Sutter Counties and is heading northeast.

Lightning strikes and hail have been reported, and a weather spotter reported seeing a funnel cloud in Sutter County. A funnel cloud earlier in the day caused damage to homes in Williams.
