SWAT Situation In Elk Grove Ends Peacefully
ELK GROVE (CBS13) - A SWAT situation has come to an end in Elk Grove after hours of waiting to make contact with a couple inside an apartment complex.
The standoff took place overnight at Renwick Avenue and Nolan.
That's where Elk Grove police and SWAT teams arrived after reports of a possible domestic dispute and hearing a high-caliber gun being cocked.
The weapon was never fired and it took a few hours for SWAT teams to make contact with the couple inside to make sure no one was being held against their will.
No injuries were reported.
