Sutter Memorial Hospital Relocates To State-Of-The-Art Building
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – It's been a long, careful move-in process. After years of rehearsals and careful planning, this is it: hundreds of patients woke up in the bright new Anderson Lucchetti Women's and Children's Center.
Wendy Bradley's triplets were born just two weeks ago and they're already on the move.
"Very easy transition," Bradley said.

Mom, dad and their precious bundle were part of the overnight move from Sutter Memorial Hospital to Sacramento's newest hospital two miles up the street.
"The quality of care has not changed. It's just exceptional," Bradley said.
They were among two hundred patients, many still in the NICU, transferred from one of California's oldest hospitals.
"It was the first hospital in the state of California to have air conditioning," said Rick Herrell, executive cardiovascular services.
To a state of the art facility.
"It's time to move on, you know, we need a modern facility for modern medicine," said Denine Greer, chief of medical staff.
The new 10-story hospital has a dedicated pediatric emergency room, separate from the adult ER, all private rooms, and more than 240 beds.
It's been a decade, and $812 million, in the making. But it's the meticulous planning – a fleet of ambulances , "move teams" and three years of non-stop rehearsals – that made the move possible. All in 24 hours.
The goal is to have everyone's moved over by 7 p.m. Saturday.
