Suspicious Device Found Outside Sacramento County Main Jail Deemed Safe
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (CBS13) – Sacramento Police say a suspicious device found outside the Sacramento County Main Jail has been deemed safe.
The suspicious device, about the size of a water bottle, was found in the flower beds near the courtroom at the jail on I Street near 7th Street around 11:00 a.m.
Officers had closed off a section of I Street near the jail as a precaution and the jail was put on lockdown while police investigated.
