Suspicious Device Investigated In Front Of South Lake Tahoe Courthouse
11: 30 a.m. UPDATE: Police have determined that the device was not an explosive. Officers are still collecting evidence and will be investigating the incident further.

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE (CBS13) - Authorities are investigating a suspicious device that was left in front of an El Dorado County courthouse.
A groundskeeper discovered the device in front of the El Dorado County Courthouse along Johnson Boulevard just after 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday. South Lake Tahoe police and a bomb squad has been called to the scene.
A robot is currently checking out the device.
South Lake Tahoe Middle School is far enough away from the scene to be not affected by the incident. Only the fields outside the school have been cordoned off.
