Suspects In Several Burglaries Caught After Chase
MANTECA (CBS13) — A chase involving multiple law enforcement agencies that started in Manteca on Monday ended with the arrest of three burglary suspects in Dublin.
Manteca Police officers responded to a report of a burglary interrupted in the 1600 block of Snapdragon Way at about 1:55 on Monday and observed the suspect vehicle, a white 1990s Lexus sedan, driving west on Highway 120.
CHP picked the car up at Highway 205 and a pursuit was initiated, continuing east on Interstate 580. The suspect car was lost in the Dublin area, but Alamada County Sheriff's deputies located it in downtown Dublin, saw three suspects in the vicinity and took them into custody.
The suspects, Aaron Blueford, 20, of Tracy, Alfonza Turner, 20, of Oakland, and a 17-year-old Tracy boy, were in possession of stolen items from multiple residential burglaries, according to police. The suspect vehicle also contained stolen property. Recovered items included a rifle, computers, gaming systems, jewelry, money and iPads.
The burglaries occurred in Tracy, Manteca and the unincorporated area of San Joaquin County, police said.
Blueford and Turner were booked into the San Joaquin County Jail and the 17-year-old was taken to juvenile hall.
