Suspects Arrested In Tracy Gang Shooting
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) -- Three suspects have been arrested for allegedly participating in a drive-by shooting in Tracy earlier this week.
Tracy Police received an anonymous report at around 11:30 p.m. on Monday that several gunshots had been fired in the area of 9th Street and Tracy Boulevard. The witnesses say two of the suspects were heard yelling "Southside Riders!" The witnesses also gave police a description of the car.
A car that fit the description of the one driven by the suspects was stopped at Cypress and Alden Glen. The passengers, consisting of three males, all 18, and two females, both 16, were the detained.
Meanwhile, police were able to find a gun that they believe was used in the shooting.
The three men in the car, Luis Hernandez, Uriel Valencia and Richard Flores, all of Tracy, were booked into San Joaquin County Jail on charges of shooting into an unoccupied dwelling, conspiracy to commit a felony, and felon in possession of a firearm.
The females were released to their parents.
