Suspect Sought In Vacaville Murder

VACAVILLE, Calif. (CBS13) -- Police say the suspect in a late Saturday homicide at a Vacaville apartment complex is still at large.

Numerous residents reported shots being fired on the 1500 block of Alamo Drive shortly after 9:15 p.m., and when officers arrived, they found 20-year-old Quinten Nears fatally wounded by several gunshots.

The suspect -- described as a white or Hispanic male in his early 20s, about 5'7", with a medium build -- fled the area on foot and was not located by a search on the ground and from helicopter units.

Investigators have not yet determined whether the crime was gang-related.
