Suspect Shot With Bean Bags Outside Police Station
LODI, Calif. (CBS13) -- A traffic stop made in front of the Lodi Police Department ended with a suspect being shot with bean bag rounds, according to authorities.
Officers pulled over a car with five occupants inside in downtown Lodi after a passenger allegedly waved a gun outside the window.
When police surrounded the car, a passenger suddenly reached down and an officer fired two bean bag rounds, according to Lodi Police Department public information officer Dale Eubanks.
It is not immediately clear how many of the occupants were taken into custody.
