Suspect In L.A. Police Chase Reportedly Armed
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Authorities say a lengthy Los Angeles police chase began with reports of a man with a gun.
A man in a white minivan has led officers on a pursuit on surface streets and in both directions of U.S. 101.
Officer Mike Lopez says police initially responded around 10 a.m. Wednesday following reports of an armed man.
The man is driving at high speeds, alternating with full stops, while occasionally gesturing out the window at police and news helicopters.
