Suspect In Car Wash Murder Arrested
SCRAMENTO (CBS13) -- A woman who allegedly participated in the fatal beating of a man near an abandoned North Sacramento car wash last month, authorities said.
The Sacramento Police Department said 21-year-old Amoura Dawson was arrested Thursday for the murder of Audie Hogue, who died on September 14 after a vicious attack on the 3600 block of Marysville Boulevard.
Hogue was found suffering from severe upper body trauma and investigators said they believe an argument between Hogue and Dawson escalated to a physical confrontation.
Police were originally looking into the possibility that Hogue was mistakenly killed because he strongly resembled another man, David Senk, who was arrested months ago after biting an acquaintances pet python.
Investigators refused to release details Friday about why they arrested Dawson and did not release a photo of the suspect.
