Suspect Hit By Car While Allegedly Fleeing From Police

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - Sacramento police say a car hit a suspect trying to flee from officers on foot Friday night.

Police didn't say why they initially tried to stop Marquis Perrino as he rode on a bike, but say he dumped the bike before being hit by a car as he crossed Mack Road.

Despite being hit, Perrino allegedly continued to run. Officers eventually caught up to him and say they he was in possession of drugs.

Perrino was booked into the Sacramento County Jail.
