Suspect: Headed To Sacramento To 'Kill More Jews'

MARYSVILLE (CBS13) -- A woman suspected in four killings in three states says that she and her boyfriend were on their way to Sacramento to "kill more Jews" when they were arrested in rural Yuba County on Friday.

That quote is in an affidavit from a Washington state prosecutor giving details about the crime spree that David "Joey" Pedersen and Holly Grigsby are suspected of conducting, including killing Pedersen's father and stepmother, David Jones "Red" Pedersen and Leslie Pedersen of Everett, Wash.

A fourth victim, Reginald Allen Clark, was identified Monday in Eureka.

The affidavit dated Monday says Grigsby told investigators the pair killed Cody Myers of Lafayette, Ore., because his last name appeared to be Jewish. Myers, 19, was a devout Christian.

Pedersen and Grigsby share white supremacist views, but prosecutors have not said whether they believe that Myers' killing was a hate crime. Clark was black.

During a hearing Tuesday afternoon at the Yuba County Courthouse in Marysville, the two waived their right to extradition. They're being held without bail until they're moved to Washington state, where they face two counts of aggravated murder.

The murder cases in Oregon and California are expected to take a backseat to the Washington charges.

Pedersen told an Appeal-Democrat newspaper reporter in a jailhouse interview Sunday that he killed his father because his father had sexually abused Pedersen's older sister. He didn't offer any explanations for the other killings but Grigsby told a prosecutor that Leslie Pedersen was also killed because she knew about the alleged abuses and didn't do anything about it.
