Suspect Fleeing Police Found Dead In West Sacramento Home After Standoff
WEST SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - Some West Sacramento residents were able to return home after an overnight standoff ended in gunfire Sunday.
Police say the suspect initially led them on a car chase, before running off into a neighborhood along Beardsley Drive.
Officers surrounded a home they thought he ran into and evacuated nearby neighbors.
After using a loudspeaker, trying to talk the man out, police entered the home and the suspect inside with what they believe is a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
