Suspect Arrested After Hitting Several Cars During Short Pursuit
WEST SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – West Sacramento and Sacramento police have arrested a suspect who hit several vehicles while leading officers on a short chase, according to officials.
West Sacramento police began chasing the suspect vehicle just after 7:30 Friday morning after they attempted to pull him over for a routine traffic stop.
The suspect traveled over the Tower Bridge in Sacramento before jumping out of the car at 3rd and N streets. After a brief search, the suspect was arrested. A passenger in the car is also being detained.
Police say the vehicles hit by the suspect during the pursuit have minor damage.
No other information was immediately available.
