Surveillance Photo Released In Elk Grove Robbery
ELK GROVE (CBS13) -- Elk Grove police released a surveillance photo Thursday of the suspect in a gas station armed robbery earlier this week.
The Chevron station at 8996 Grant Line Road was robbed on Monday at about 3:25 a.m.
According to police, the suspect entered the gas station, selected a soda and approached the clerk at the register to pay for it. When the clerk opened the cash register, the suspect removed a handgun from his waistband, pointed it at the employee and demanded money. He left on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect is described as an Asian male adult, 25 to 30 years old, 5 feet, 6 inches tall with a thin build. He was wearing a blue Yankees baseball hat, a dark-colored jacket and blue jeans. He has long shoulder-length dark hair with a thin mustache.
