Surveillance Images Released In Walnut Creek Tiffany Burglary Involving Stolen Citrus Heights Truck
WALNUT CREEK (CBS13) - Police have released surveillance photos of a Tiffany & Co. burglary in Walnut Creek that involved a stolen truck from Citrus Heights.
Several men used the truck to break open the front doors of the store on S. Main Street at around 5:47 a.m. Aug. 15. Police report that witnesses saw the men run inside the store and smash open a display case, taking a small amount of jewelry.
The surveillance photos show six suspects meeting in a parking lot prior to the robbery. They are seen removing the license plates from a white Chevrolet Trailblazer SUV later used to flee the scene of the robbery, say police.
Also seen in the footage are the stolen truck, a newer looking black Cadillac sedan and what appears to be a dark-colored Chevrolet Tahoe. Police believe both the Cadillac and Chevrolet were in the area at the time of the burglary with one person in each vehicle.
The Trailblazer driver is described as a Hispanic man in his early to mid 20s. Police say he is of average height, has a medium build, and was wearing a dark hoodie and baseball hat.
Police describe two suspects in the stolen truck as either white or Hispanic. The first is between 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 9 inches tall with a slim build and wearing a dark hoodie and a baseball hat. The second suspect is about 6 feet tall with a medium build and also wearing a hoodie and baseball hat.
